I am Kevin Thulnith, a second-year It undergraduate at the Faculty of Computing & Technology, University of Kelaniya. I build web applications. I've gotten into pretty much every layer of the stack along the way, from API design to containerized deployments with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

Backend is where most of my energy goes. I like the kind of problems that don't have an obvious answer, figuring out how a system should be structured, where it'll break under load, why something that looks clean on paper falls apart in production. Real-time systems especially have been keeping me busy lately.

My focus right now is cloud-native architecture and modern DevOps. Not because it's a buzzword, but because that's where the hard, interesting problems actually live. I want to build software that solves real things, not impressive on a slide deck, just solid when it matters.

I developed a full-stack Factory Management System with real-time WebSocket updates using Django Channels & Redis. It features Google OAuth2, JWT authentication, and an Nginx reverse proxy, all orchestrated with Docker Compose. This was my final-year Development Project module for my B.Sc.

I developed comprehensive health prediction mobile application powered by machine learning models for diabetes, heart disease, and chronic kidney disease risk assessment. Frontend built with Flutter, backend is developed with the trained ML models using datasets from keggle. It is a collaborative project.
